Same shit, different day.  Oakland City Council Member’s shenanigans are causing headaches for residents again.  This time, a sudden jump in garbage collection costs have residents furious.  When will Oaklanders wake up and clean house with the city’s government?

Yes, Waste Management was transparent (but not forthcoming) about the increased ancillary fees.  However, it’s each Council Member’s responsibility to perform due diligence on all agreements the City enters into, regardless of what the staff report says.
