Don’t mispronounce Bay Area city names.  Here’s a quick poem to get you into the learning mood:

Oh please do not make, the gravest mistake, and mispronounce Colma as Coma,

Rodeo’s Ro-DAY-o, as the old timers say-o, this ain’t some bull ride in Sonoma.

A squiggly’s no bueno in Monte Sereno, they’ll run you down quick in their Vettes,

But it’s fine if you falter, and Yountville gets altered, after tasting some fine Cabernetz.

Adding syllables sounds swell, in San Ra-FAY-el, but such wordplay amounts to neglect,

Final note, this one’s plain, do not call it BRISS-bane, and if you do try to be circumspect.
